The Indian young brigade stride big after their Ranchi triumph and the new update of ICC Men's test ranking. Shubman Gill, Dhruv Jurel and Yashasvi Jaiswal have jumped long after today's updated ranking. They all have performed well to make India win another home test series and received some rewards from ICC for this. While England superstar Joe Root too came to top five in all rounders ranking after his great outing with the bowl in the ongoing series against India. 

ICC Men's Test batting ranking

Jaiswal (up three places to 12th), Gill (up four spots to 31st) and Jurel (up 31 rungs to 69th) all reach new best ratings following their contributions in the fourth Test. England opener Zak Crawley can also lay claim to reaching a new career-best rating after he rose 10 spots to 17 on the list for Test batters following scores of 42 and 60 against India.

Joe Root now has become the fourth best test all rounder in the world. While Ravindra Jadeja still leading the chart being the best.
