Recently, the former Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma's old video went viral on social media platforms in which he opened up the franchise's name he wants to lead after Mumbai Indians. After being removed from the leadership, the MI management entrusted Hardik Pandya who had a successful time with Gujarat Titans.

Under his captaincy, Gujarat Titans won their first IPL title in their debut season. They played the final in their next season against Chennai Super Kings and they went to lose in the final ball of the game. Then Mumbai Indians backed Hardik Pandya and gave over the captaincy to him.

Rohit Sharma However, Mumbai Indians and Rohit Sharma's fans weren't happy with that decision as many of them unfollowed the official page of the franchise. Everyone knows that under Rohit Sharma's leadership, Mumbai Indians won all five titles in which he defeated the most successful franchise Chennai Super Kings.

Despite being sacked from the leadership, Rohit Sharma still supported Hardik Pandya and also asked the crowd to support him during the game against Rajasthan Royals. However, certain reports say that Rohit Sharma is likely planning to move on from Mumbai Indians ahead of the upcoming mega auction of IPL 2025.

In that case, his old video went viral among the fans in which he said, "Eden Gardens is my favourite ground so a lot happened in Eden Gardens for me so I would say KKR".
