"I think 170-180 on this wicket would have been a good total"- Shubman Gill
GT captain Shubman Gill also thinks the same, he thinks the powerplay from the both sides made the difference, also the pitch was for 170-180 and GT batters couldn't capitalise on that which is another catalyst behind the loss.

Royal Challengers Bangaluru beat Gujrat Titans by 4 wickets on Saturday at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Mohammad Siraj and Yash Dayal's onburst with the ball bundled GT out for a paltry 147. In reply, RCB captain Faf du Plessis' swashbuckling 64 off only 23 deliveries sealed an easy win for RCB to keep their hope for top four qualification.
GT batters couldn't even stand infront of the onburst of Siraj, Dayal and Green combined. They lost 3 wickets inside the powerplay and managed to gather just 23 on the board, while on the other hand, RCB raced their way to 92 off the first 6 overs and sealed the chase in the powerplay. GT captain Shubman Gill also thinks the same, he thinks the powerplay from the both sides made the difference, also the pitch was for 170-180 and GT batters couldn't capitalise on that which is another catalyst behind the loss.
"It all depends on the wicket, you see the first couple of overs. You get an idea and you play according to that. I think 170-180 on this wicket would have been a good total. I think how we batted in the powerplay and how we bowled in the powerplay, that made a difference. We would have an extra bowling option (had we not lost early wickets.) Never easy. It's important for us to start from zero (in the next game), need to move on. Many positives to take from this game, need to make sure we don't repeat our mistakes. It's all about winning everything we can from here on."
