Gill jurel's ominous stand takes India home as they win the series with one match to spare.
Earlier, Rohit and Jaiswal gave India a flying start. The opening stand was worth of 84 runs before Root broke the partnership picking up the wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal for 37 off 44 deliveries. Rohit Sharma brought up his 2nd 4th innings fifty in style and made a fine 55 off 81 deliveries.
However, India had a collapse triggered by Shoaib Bashir and they were tested pretty hard. But Shubman Gill stood tall in one end, while he got partner in Dhruv Jurel. Both of them had a strong partnership of 72 runs from 136 deliveries, which ultimately took India home by 5 wickets.
Shubman Gill was unbeaten with his fine 52* off only 126 balls, while Dhruv Jurel scored a fantastic 39*. For England, it was Shoaib Bashir yet again, picking up 3 wickets to give England hope but the strong stand between Gill and Jurel snatched the match away from England.
The final and fifth test will be commenced from 7th March, Dharamsala.
