Cricket Australia (CA) has revealed their central contract list for 2024-2025 cricketing season highlighted by a massive home Test series against India. Young pacemen Xavier Bartlett and Nathan Ellis, Western Australian all rounder Matt Short and Aaron Hardie have surged to the lucrative contract list.

Cricket Australia today announces the squad of central contracted players for the upcoming season. They've picked up 23 men for the central contract list.

"Matt, Aaron and Xavier have been extremely impressive in the early stages of their international careers," said national selection chair George Bailey. "Their performances and the way they have embraced the international stage has been exciting to watch."

"The panel believes they have strong futures and are deserved of their contracts as they work towards striving to become regulars in the Australian setup."
