Durdanto Dhaka have made history by playing their first match in their history of BPL. In the opening match of this year's BPL, Dhaka beat current champions Comilla Victorians. Dhaka, which started auspiciously with the victory, added two new players to the team. 

Australia's Alex Ross is coming to play for Dhaka. Besides, Dhaka have also signed local young pacer Enamul Haque to the team. Ross plays in franchise leagues around the world. He recently played for Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League (BBL). The 31-year-old cricketer also has experience playing in teams like Brisbane Heat, Jamaica Tallawahs, Dumbulla Aura. This time, he is coming to BPL for Durdanto Dhaka. According to a press release from Dhaka, he is scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh at 12:40 today (January 20) .

On the other hand, the familiar face of domestic cricket in the country is the young pacer Enamul. The 23-year-old pacer recently played for Dhaka Division and Central Zone in domestic cricket.

Dhaka made a good start by defeating Comilla by 5 wickets in the 10th season of BPL. Dhaka is in the second position of the points table with 2 points. Dhaka will play their second match against Chattogram Challengers on January 22.
