A fifth-wicket stand between Tasamul (62) and Moin (42) offered some resistance, helping Barishal avoid an innings defeat. Eventually, they were bowled out for 251, leaving Dhaka Metro a target of just 63 runs, which they chased down comfortably with 8 wickets in hand.
In another encounter, Khulna Division was saved by the steady batting of Amit Majumder and Ziaur Rahman, as they played out a draw against Rajshahi Division. Chasing a daunting 513-run target, Khulna started strong, but Rajshahi’s hopes of victory were dashed by Ziaur's gritty knock of 23 from 98 balls, ensuring the match ended in a stalemate.
Meanwhile, Dhaka Division had to settle for a draw against Sylhet Division after rain interruptions. Despite gaining a 78-run first-innings lead, Dhaka couldn't force a result as Sylhet's middle-order batters Pinak Ghosh and Amit Hasan stitched crucial partnerships, guiding the match to a draw.
