The first ODI in Paarl was abandoned on Sunday (December 6), two later after the fixture was postponed from Friday's clash in Cape Town.
The second and third ODIs in Cape Town were scheduled for December 7 and 9.
South Africa had two positive COVID-19 cases before the start of T20I series, which successfully ended with England winning by 3-0. Things got escalated when another South African player tested positive before Friday's fixture.
Later, two hotel staff joined the list after a round of testing on Friday. England and South Africa underwent another round of testing on Saturday which resulted all negative for the hosts but England received two 'unconfirmed' COVID-19 cases.
England and Wales Cricket Board are awaiting ratification of the two cases.
A joint statement from Cricket South Africa and ECB said,
