Bangladesh have won their third straight series against West Indies, taking an unassailable 2-0 lead after a seven-wicket victory in the second ODI at Mirpur. [caption id="attachment_157910" align="alignnone" width="640"]

Shakib plays a cut shot[/caption] The Tigers chased down yet another low total - 149 in 33.2 overs. Tamim Iqbal played a captain's knock, scoring his first half-century as skipper in ODIs. Although he went back in the next ball, edging off Raymon Reifer to the keeper. Tamim played 76 balls for 50 runs in his 48th ODI fifty that saw three fours and a six. Liton Das (22 off 24) had a good start but fell to Akeal Hosein being trapped lbw. No.3 Najmul Hossain Shanto, on 17, gave his wicket away after he was given a life. The stage was set for Shakib Al Hasan to get into runs. The ace all-rounder saw his side to victory, scoring unbeaten 43 runs from 50 balls with the help of four boundaries. Mushfiqur Rahim hit the winning shot as he made 9* off 25. Earlier in the morning it was the same old story for West Indies, who made 148 runs in 43.4 overs this time. At one point they were 88/8 but Rovman Powell ensured he gave bowlers something to bowl for. The right-hander scored 41 off 66 before being stumped of Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who took career-best figures of 4/25. West Indies captain Jason Mohammed made an interesting decision of batting first on the same pitch that was used last Wednesday. The Caribbean batting order was shuffled up as Kjorn Ottley debuted as opener. Mustafizur Rahman delivered with the new ball once again for Bangladesh, picking up Sunil Ambris in his opening spell where he gave only two runs in four overs. Miraz's double strike in the 14th over triggered a collapse. In addition, run out of Kyle Mayers made West Indies slide further. Shakib, who was introduced as the fifth bowler, took 2/30. Nos.10 and 11 - Alzarri Joseph (17) and Akeal Hosein (12*) put on vital partnerships with Powell to take the target close to 150. Brief scores: West Indies 148 allout in 43.4 overs (Powell 41; Miraz 4/25, Mustafizur 2/15, Shakib 2/30) Bangladesh 149/3 in 33.2 overs (Tamim 50, Shakib 43*, Liton 22; Reifer 1/18) Bangladesh won by 7 wickets Player of the Match: Mehidy Hasan Miraz
