Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), the governing body of cricket in the country, will do the board of directors’ meeting on Monday (June 12). The meeting will begin at 2 pm at the BCB building located at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur under the chairmanship of Nazmul Hassan Papon, president of the organization.

Although this meeting was called ahead of the Afghanistan series, it is known that the issue related to the national team is not getting much priority on the agenda. The Sheikh Hasina Cricket Stadium under construction in Purbachal will come up for discussion in the eighth board meeting.

BCB media committee chairman Tanvir Ahmed Titu told to BDCricTime, "The work of Sheikh Hasina Stadium is going on. We have already appointed the architect. Some changes have been made to the design. These will be presented tomorrow. Finalization will be done from there.”

Apart from this, it is said that the final discussion will be held in the board meeting tomorrow about the process of land purchase for the construction of the field with BCB's own funding. In Monday's board meeting, the cricket discussion will include the issue of recently appointed new coaches. They will be presented at the meeting to inform the board directors.
