Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has been very careful from the very beginning of coronavirus pandemic. The game was stopped for a long time. But as the international cricket started again in August, BCB also broke their silence. BCB announces huge rewards for Bangabandhu T20 Cup

After the President's Cup, this time BCB has organized Bangabandhu T20 Cup also. And they have announced a big prize before the final of this tournament. It was said that Bangladesh would return to cricket with a tour of Sri Lanka. But in the end the Lanka tour did not see the light of day. For this, BCB organized a tournament of fifty overs with three teams and named ‘Presidents’ Cup’. In that tournament, a large sum of money was awarded. And then, Bangabandhu T20 Cup has been organized with five teams. This T20 cricket event has been played in the style of franchise cricket. Even though the tournament has started, it is not yet known whether the champion team will get the award or not. One by one, the matches of the league phase have ended. Eliminator and qualifier matches have also been played. Just before the final, BCB has announced the amount of prizes allocated for the tournament. Where there is nothing fixed for the champion team. But each player of that team will get a cash prize of one and a half lakh taka BDT. Each member of the runners-up team will receive 75,000 tk. Whoever wins the ‘Man of the tournament’ will get 3 lakh tk. There will be one lakh taka for the man of the Final. Both the best batsman and bowler of the tournament will get 2 lakh tk. each. In addition, 4 cricketers will be given 1 lakh tk. for special performances. Gemcon Khulna and Gazi Group Chattogram will face off in the final of Bangabandhu T20 Cup on Thursday (December 17) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. Prizes at a glance - 1 lakh 50 thousand - Every cricketer of the champion team. 75 thousand – Every cricketer of the runners-up team. 3 lakhs – Player of the tournament 1 lakh - Man of the Final. 2 lakhs - Best batsman of the tournament. 2 lakhs - Best bowler of the tournament. 1 Lakh - Special Performance Award (4)
