This year’s Big Bash League (BBL) winner for Brisbane Heat, Josh Brown has rushed to Bangladesh to play Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) just after the completion of the BBL.

This Australian cricketer will play in BPL for Chattogram Challengers. Although the team from the port city has not been able to compete with other franchises in terms of inclusion of domestic cricketers, it has surprised everyone with the inclusion of foreigners. This time, 30-year-old right-handed batter Josh Brown will play for the team from the Sylhet phase.

Brown, however, does not have the record for most matches played in competitive recognized cricket. He has played 23 T20 matches so far. His runs are 624 in 23 innings. But the current form has to be taken into account. The owner of a century and two fifties has scored a fifty and a century in the last two matches. 

In this year's Big Bash, he scored 366 runs in 9 innings of 8 matches and became the second highest run-scorer of the tournament. He batted at an average of 40.66 with a strike rate of 150.61. This batter can create devastating batting in BPL.

Last January 22, in the challengers match of Big Bash, Brown came to the peak of discussion with his tornado innings of 140 runs off only 57 balls. He had 10 fours and 12 sixes in that innings. In the very next match in the Big Bash final, Brown played an important role in winning the title of Brisbane Heat with a very effective innings of 53 runs from 38 balls.
