Babar Azam becomes fastest player to score 19 centuries in ODIs
South Africa batter Hashim Amla previously held the record for fastest 19th ODI century with 104 innings. The South African surpassed Virat Kohli, who hit 19 centuries in 124 ODI innings.

Pakistan star batter Babar Azam has reached another milestone in international. With the century against Nepal in the first match of the Asia Cup, he has become the quickest player to get 19th century in ODIs.
South Africa batter Hashim Amla previously held the record for fastest 19th ODI century with 104 innings. The South African surpassed Virat Kohli, who hit 19 centuries in 124 ODI innings. AB de Villiers (171 innings) and Chris Gayle (189 innings) are at the fourth and fifth in the list.
This year’s Asia Cup started with the hosts Pakistan and debutant Nepal in Multan on Wednesday (August 30). Winning the toss, Pakistan opted to bat first. But Nepal bowlers bowled very well from the beginning and Pakistan lost two early wickets of Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq.
However, Babar and Mohammad Rizwan tackled the initial blow and formed a good 86-run partnership for the third wicket. After Rizwan departed for 44, Pakistan lost Agha Salman too. But Babar kept one end and Iftikhar Ahmed joined him.
Babar and Iftikhar batted really well and put on a 100+ partnership which is still continuing. And Babar also hit his 19th century which made him entered into another list of records. At the time of writing this report, Pakistan’s score is 294/4 in 46 overs.
