The schedule for the 2023 Asian Cup, co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka, is set. The tournament runs from August 30th to September 17th.

Jay Shah, President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), announced on Twitter on Wednesday the schedule for the 2023 Asia Cup, which will be held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Pakistan meets Nepal in the opening match of the 2023 Asia Cup in Multan. The tournament, played in fifty-overs format, consists of six teams divided into two groups of three teams each.

Pakistan, India and Nepal are in Group A while Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka are in Group B. The tournament follows a hybrid model, with Pakistan hosting four matches in two venues and Sri Lanka hosting the remaining matches.

The top two teams in each group advance to the Super Four stage where they compete for a spot in the finals. The final of the tournament is scheduled for September 17th in Colombo.

Bangladesh meets Afghanistan in Lahore on September 3rd, followed by Sri Lanka and Afghanistan on September 5th at the Gaddafi Stadium. Regardless of where they end up in the first round, Pakistan will retain the A1 spot, India will be A2 spot, Sri Lanka will be B1 and Bangladesh will be B2.

The only listed Super 4 game to be played in Pakistan is on September 6, including Group A winners (A1) and Group B runners-up (B2).

If Pakistan and India both secure a spot in the Super Four stage, fans can look forward to another thrilling clash in Colombo on September 10th.
