Mujeeb Ur Rehman bowled a fast short delivery that got Stirling inside-edging onto the stumps. Lack of support from the other end had Ireland packed for 230 in 47.1 overs, leaving themselves with just one win in the UAE tour (1-1 vs UAE before this series). Rashid won the player of the match award while Stirling deservedly received player of the series award. Afghanistan (30 points) have moved to No.4 in the Cricket World Cup Super League standings. Bangladesh (No.2) and England (No.3) also have 30 points to their names.
