All franchise tournaments in the world except BPL and PSL have Indian franchises. And the Indian franchise means the money jingle. And more money means better quality of players in that league.

Alex Ross explains Why Australian cricketers can't Participate in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). He said that generally, cricketers do not get NOCs.
All franchise tournaments in the world except BPL and PSL have Indian franchises. And the Indian franchise means the money jingle. And more money means better quality of players in that league.
However, BPL has lagged behind a lot in this aspect. Every time a new system is added to the tournament. On the other hand, due to many leagues at the same time, star cricketers are not available. As such, the traffic of Australians is mostly in IPL.
So why are there no Australian cricketers in BPL? Another Australian cricketer Alex Ross gave that explanation.
"There are a couple of reasons. The guys play state cricket so they play for New South Wales, Victoria and they aren't allowed out of the country so much because then they are playing four-day cricket or one-day outside of Big Bash League. They won't receive NOCs, so if I had played state cricket, I would just play Big Bash cricket,” Ross said.
Apart from Ross, another Australian Ben Cutting is playing in this year's BPL. Meanwhile, Ross set foot in Dhaka today. Has Ross got any advice from his teammate Ben Cutting on dealing with unfamiliar conditions? This cricketer gave the answer with a joke.
"No tips. He said there's a couple of nice restaurants here and a good steak at the Crowne Plaza here last night. Nothing so much on the cricket yet. He is probably telling me the wrong tips,” Ross added.
The destination of the two cricketers is in two directions. One is playing for the Durdanto Dhaka and another for Sylhet Strikers. Both are opponents on the field of play.
