Contributions from the top and middle order were pivotal, with 42-year-old Shoaib Malik leading the charge with a top score of 41. India's Anureet Singh was the standout bowler, claiming three crucial wickets to restrict Pakistan's total.

India's chase was spearheaded by Ambati Rayudu, who scored a blistering 50 off 30 balls. Gurkeerat Singh Mann provided solid support with 35 runs, setting a strong foundation for the team. The match was sealed by a rapid 30 off 16 balls from Yusuf Pathan, with Yuvraj Singh remaining unbeaten on 15. Irfan Pathan hit the winning runs, ensuring a memorable victory for India.

As the celebrations began, young cricketer Abhishek Sharma, who is now in Zimbabwe for a five-match T20I series, took a minute to congratulate his guru, Yuvraj Singh, for leading the team to victory against Pakistan. Sharma, a member of the successful Indian squad in Zimbabwe, praised Yuvraj's leadership after Shubman Gill's Led India Team won the series 4-1 with a 42-run victory over the hosts in the final Twenty20 International.

"We all saw the actually four five of us saw the finals yesterday. It was like one of the moments. It’s always special when you’re playing against Pakistan and again it was the final. So, I think a big congratulations to my mentor (Yuvraj)," Abhishek told Sony Sports Network in a post-match interview.
