Zimbabwe announce squad for Ireland Test including 4 uncapped players
Following a 1-0 loss in their two-match home series against the West Indies in 2023, this will be their first Test of the year. Several of the players who played that match, such Innocent Kaia, Chamu Chibhabha, Milton Shumba, Brad Evans, Donald Tiripano are no longer with the team.

Zimbabwe have announced a 15-member Test squad, which includes some new players, for their upcoming match against Ireland later this month.
Following a 1-0 loss in their two-match home series against the West Indies in 2023, this will be their first Test of the year. Several of the players who played that match, such Innocent Kaia, Chamu Chibhabha, Milton Shumba, Brad Evans, Donald Tiripano are no longer with the team.
There are four new faces in the squad. Of which, the three new faces in Zimbabwe's Test team are Clive Madande, Brian Bennett, and Jonathan Campbell, all of whom are playing in the current T20 International series against India. Included in the squad of 15 is Joylord Gumbie, who has not yet received a cap in the format.
Many more veteran players, such as Sean Williams, Tendai Chatara, Blessing Muzarabani, and Richard Ngarava, have been named by the Craig Ervine-led team.
The only Test match will take place in Stormont in Belfast, Ireland, from July 25 to July 29.
