Lucknow Super Giants beat Gujrat Titans by 33 runs on Sunday (7th April). A superb spell from Yash Thakur saw LSG their maiden win over Gujrat Titans.

Yash Thakur bowled a fantastic spell to hand LSG a famous win over GT.
Opting to bat first, Quinton De Kock fell cheaply, while Devdutt Padikkal also couldn't get going. But skipper KL Rahul and Aussie all rounder Marcus Stoinis strung a partnership to steer the ship going. The duo added 73 runs partnership to give a solid foundation to the innings.

Stoinis notched up a fifty through the process and scored 58 off 43 balls. Nicholas Pooran gave a flying finish with his 32* off 22 balls to post 163-5 on the board.

Gujrat Titans didn't have a great middle over batting as Yash Thakur removed Vijay Shankar, Rahul Tewatia to marginalise Gujrat Titans at a bay. No one from Gujrat Titans didn't step up to the chase barring Tewatia as he made 30 off 25 deliveries.

Yash Thakur has been excellent, as he picked up 5 wickets to hand LSG their maiden victory over GT. While Krunal Pandya also chipped in with 3 wickets to bundle GT out for 130-10 and were shy off 33 runs.
