"We are having a tough time now"-Nigar Sultana after losing the T20I series to India Women

Despite having a flying start in the powerplay from Dilara Akter, Bangladeshi batters failed to capitalise on their chances. Bangladesh women previously were blown away by Australia women by 6-0 in ODI's and T20I's and now they lost to India by 0-3 with 2 games to spare. Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana said, they were doing well for last six months but they're having a tough time now.

"We batted well in the powerplay, then we lost to back-to-back wickets and we couldn’t finish well in the death overs. This is the team that is doing well for the last six months, we are having a tough time now but we need to keep calm now and focus on the process. She is very energetic in her batting, she is enjoying in the middle, if she could go on, she could have scored her first half century. As a young player, she has a lot to improve on. As a batting unit, we have been struggling. We didn’t bowl well in the powerplay but we bowled well after the powerplay. We tried everything so we wanted to do something different and I introduced Ritu and it worked for us."- Nigar Sultana in the post match presentation.
