In the match, the Manchester Originals posted a total of 135/5 in their 100 balls, thanks to Salt's fiery knock of 58 runs from 41 deliveries. His innings included four boundaries and two sixes, with a strike rate of 142. Max Holden and Paul Walter also contributed 38 and 15 runs, respectively, ensuring that the Originals set a competitive target.

On the other hand, during the chase, London Spirit's opener Keaton Jennings fought back with an unbeaten 61 runs from 50 balls, supported by West Indies' middle-order batter Shimron Hetmyer, who scored 44 runs off 35 balls. Despite their efforts, London Spirit fell short of the target, managing only 123 runs and losing the match by 12 runs.
