Ruturaj Gaikwad also played an important role, scoring 77 off 47 deliveries. He joined Abhishek Sharma to form a solid 137-run partnership for the second wicket. This partnership helped India surpass the 200-run mark, ending with 234 for 2 in 20 overs.

Chasing a mammoth target of 235, Zimbabwe's batting lineup crumbled under pressure. They managed to score only 134 runs before being bowled out in 18.4 overs. The Indian bowlers showcased a disciplined performance, ensuring a comprehensive victory for the team.
