T20 World Cup winners Jasprit Bumrah and Rohit Sharma made it to the shortlist of ICC Men's Player of the Month nominees for June 2024. Afghanistan's explosive opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz also made it to the list.

Gurbaz ended the T20 World Cup as the highest run-scorer of the tournament, piling up 281 runs at an average of 35.12. He was one of the forces behind Afghanistan's golden run in this mega event.

His 80 and 60 against New Zealand and Australia were one of the best knocks of the tournament.

The second-highest run-scorer at the T20 World Cup was Indian captain Rohit Sharma with 257 runs at a handsome strike rate of 156.7. His swashbuckling 92 against Australia knocked them out of the tournament, also he made a serious 57 against England in the semifinal which helped India to progress to the finals. Rohit Sharma also led India to their glory of T20 World Cup 2024. 

Indian pace ace Jasprit Bumrah has had a tremendous season as he picked up 15 wickets at the T20 World Cup at a mind-boggling economy rate of just 4.17. He was also awarded as the player of the tournament for his unreal consistency throughout the mega event.
