Jaffna Kings has returned to the winning streak after losing 2 matches in a row in the Lanka Premier League (LPL). Bangladesh cricketer Towhid Hridoy also played a major role in the team's victory in the thirteenth match of the LPL. Hridoy left the field unbeaten with three fours on the day in an easy win, securing the team's victory.
Colombo Strikers captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bat first. They scored 146 runs losing 8 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. The highest 36 runs for the team came from the bat of Pathum Nissanka, who hit 7 fours in 25 balls.
Besides, Lahiru Udara scored 29 from 25 balls, Mohammad Nawaz scored 27 from 20 balls, Babar scored 24 from 21 balls and Chamika Karunaratne played an unbeaten 21-run innings from 18 balls. Dilshan Madushanka and Dunith Wellalage picked up two wickets each for Jaffna.
