Tickets of the final match of Micromax Asia Cup 2016 have turned out as inimitable object – even the national team cricketers are in dire search of some tickets for their acquaintances. celebration was going on

A single national team cricketer has been gifted at least 5 to 6 courtesy tickets in any particular match and they can purchase necessary amount of tickets from BCB but prior to the Asia Cup final, none of them could find out sufficient tickets till now. National team wicket keeper Mushfiqur Rahim said, “I need at least 50 tickets for my friends and family but don’t know how to get them. I have heard that tickets are not available anywhere.” One of the directors of Bangladesh Cricket Board expressed his helpless condition saying, “Everyone is asking for a ticket, some people who never watched a cricket match before have also called me for tickets of the final. I have never been in such embarrassing condition before.” One of the reasons that the board director has revealed about the scarcity of ticket is to deliver increasing amount of ‘courtesy tickets.’ After the 2011 World Cup, at least 40% tickets go in different government and servicing organizations as ‘courtesy’ which is one of the prime reasons behind this unavailability of tickets for the general spectators. Ismail Haider Mollick, the Head of Ticket and sitting committee and BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury were all out of reach when contacted.
