Cricket Hong Kong has officially confirmed Team India’s participation in the highly anticipated 2024 Hong Kong Sixes tournament, marking the event's return after a seven-year hiatus. The last edition of this fast-paced tournament was held in 2017, and its comeback has generated a lot of excitement among cricket enthusiasts.

The 20th edition of the Hong Kong Sixes is scheduled to take place from November 1 to 3, 2024, at the iconic Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Hong Kong. Team India’s inclusion has only amplified the buzz around the tournament, as fans eagerly await the explosive action. Cricket Hong Kong shared the exciting news on social media, stating, “Team India is gearing up to smash it out of the park at HK6! Prepare for explosive power hitting and a storm of sixes that will electrify the crowd!”

The tournament will see participation from 12 nations, including Australia, Bangladesh, England, Hong Kong, Nepal, New Zealand, Oman, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the United Arab Emirates, alongside India. Over the years, the Hong Kong Sixes has attracted legendary cricketers such as Brian Lara, Shane Warne, and Wasim Akram, making it one of the most exciting and celebrated cricket tournaments.

Historically, South Africa, England, and Pakistan have been the most successful teams in the competition.
