Bangladesh star pacer Taskin Ahmed has been ruled out of the third ODI against New Zealand tomorrow due to stomach issues. Pacer Khaled Ahmed and batter Afif Hossain have been added to the squad, so the squad has 15 members now.

Khaled made his debut in the second ODI against New Zealand and took 3 wickets in that match. On the other hand, Afif was not in the squad in the first two matches.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) made several changes in the squad for the third and final ODI against New Zealand. Many have returned to the team after being given a rest in the first two ODIs.  

Najmul Hossain Shanto is back in the squad after recovering from injury and will lead the side in the last match of the series.  Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mushfiqur Rahim, Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam have returned to the team also. Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Tamim Iqbal , Nurul Hasan Sohan, Soumya Sarkar, Mustafizur Rahman and Litton Das have not been kept in the squad. Notably, Tamim and Litton asked for a rest.  

The first ODI between the two teams was washed out by rain. After losing the second match by 86 runs, Bangladesh is now trailing by 1-0 in the series.   

This is going to be the last international match for both teams before the World Cup. And after a few days, the whole team will go to India to play the World Cup. However, Bangladesh has not given the final squad for the World Cup. The ODI World Cup will start on October 5 in India. The final match will be held on November 19 at the end of the one-and-a-half-month cricket festival.
