December is already memorable for Bangladesh, it is said to be the month of victory. However, the month of December 2023 has become memorable for many other reasons. This month was full of success for Bangladesh cricket.

Taijul played an important role in Bangladesh's victory in the Sylhet Test. He picked up 10 wickets in the match. Tigers got a historic 150-run win against New Zealand in Sylhet. He was brilliant with the ball in the second match of the series also in Mirpur, taking 5 wickets. Taijul was selected as the player of the series by taking 15 wickets in the series.
Pat Cummins and Glenn Phillips are the contenders for Taijul. Cummins and Australia have had a great year. Cummins was also successful in the last month of the year. Cummins took 5 wickets in both innings against Pakistan in the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne, crushing Pakistan's batting lineup. Australia won the match very easily in the end. It was the second Test of the three-match series. Australia won the series by 3-0 after winning the previous and the next match.

Phillips won the Man of the Match award in the Mirpur Test. The two-match Test series ended in a 1-1 draw.
