Spin dominating day in Multan, Pakistan on top to level the series

England started the day being 259-6, Jamie Smith and Brydon Carse couldn't stitch a partnership as Sajid Khan ran riot through the England's lower order to scrap the visitors innings to 291 runs.
Sajid Khan returned with figures of 111/7 and helped Pakistan to have a crucial 75-run lead after first innings.
Pakistan couldn't start the second innings on a high, losing their opener Abdullah Shafique to Shoaib Bashir. Shan Masood to departed earlier. Saim Ayub once again partnered up with Kamran Ghulam but this time the stand didn't last long. Shoaib Bashir gave England breakthrough, removing the dangerous Saim for 26 off 39 balls.
Kamran too fell after scoring 26. Pakistan were stuttering on 145-6 as Shoaib Bashir was showing his incredible spinning skills. Agha Salman then stood tall amid the collapse, he man handled the English spinners.
He rode on his lucks on his initial phase of the innings but became stable as the innings grew up. He made a sensational fifty [63 off 89] before falling to Brydon Carse.
Agha Salman's fifty helped Pakistan get 296 runs lead.
In reply of Pakistan's 297, Sajid Khan gave Pakistan a flying start, removing Ben Duckett for a two-ball duck. And then Noman Ali removed the other opener Zak Crawley and England are on 36-2, needing of 261 runs.
The ball is spinning, keeping low at times and also reversing. Batting is definitely not easy here. But England know how to bat brutally on difficult conditions. A blockbuster day awaits in Multan.
