Sobhana Mostary ready to set new record in ICC Women's T20 World Cup

In an interview given to the media during a practice session at Mirpur Stadium on Sunday, 15-year old Sobhana Mostary of Rangpur spoke of her ambition.

"Of course it feels good to be playing in the World Cup for the first time. It is a great pleasure to be representing the country, especially after fulfilling my father's dreams,"

she said. “We can give the team a win by giving our best if the team needs it." Bangladesh Women's Cricket Team will leave the country tomorrow to play the T20 World Cup for the fourth time in their history. For this, Bangladesh had already almost completed all preparations. Bangladesh had been in the group of death in the World Cup. They will play against the heavyweights like India, New Zealand, Australia and Sri Lanka in the tournament. The Tigris did not play in any version against Australia and New Zealand, despite having played against two strengths of Asian cricket India and Sri Lanka in the past.
