Legends of Rupganj thumped Partex Sporting Club by 7 wickets on Thursday (28th March). Shamim Hossain Patwary's tornado [86 off 43] of a knock decimated Partex Sporting Club.

Earlier, Partex Sporting Club opted to bat first. Both of the openers of Partex couldn’t get going as both of them departed on 18 runs. No one touched the double figure. And then Mizanur Rahman and Tanvir Hayder took the rein of the innings. Both of them played with highest authority. The duo added 103 runs. Mizanur missed a well deserved 100 as he fell on 88 off 91 balls.

While, Tanvir scored a tortoise while 36 off 74. After the departure of these two, Partex couldn’t add more to the tally as their innings ended on 191 runs.

In reply, Legends of Rupganj' openers gave them a rollicking start. As the stand was worth of 49 runs. After the departure of openers, Shamim Patwary came to the crease. And he took no time to unleash his monstrous power. His prowess thumped Partex Sporting Club's bowlers at everywhere of the park and made the chase look like a cakewalk for Legends of Rupganj.

He raced his way to 86 from just 43 balls to give Legends of Rupganj a thumping win by 7 wickets and 147 balls to spare. However Tushar also played a big role in the chase, as he made a fantastic 83 off 66 balls. The partnership between Shamim and Tushar changed the scenario of the match and gave Rupganj an easy victory.
