Bangla Tigers Mississauga lost to Brampton Wolves by 8 wickets in Canada's Global T20 tournament. Bangladesh paver Shoriful Islam was brilliant with the bat for the team, but could not benefit with the ball. On the other hand, Shakib Al Hasan did not get runs with the bat and did not come to the bowling. 

Batting first in the match, Bangla Tigers were all out for just 79 runs. Bangladesh star all-rounder Shakib failed with the bat. Shakib departed after playing an innings of 4 runs from 6 balls. The team's two openers, Hazratullah Zazai and Rahmanullah Gurbaz both went for a duck.

Only Iftikhar Ahmed, David Wiese and Shoriful Islam reached the double-digit score in the innings. Iftikhar Ahmed played an innings of 19 runs off 17 balls. Wiese scored 10 runs off 9 balls. At the end, Shoriful played a cameo innings of 12 runs off 4 balls. At the end of 13 overs, the innings of Bangla Tigers stopped at only 79 runs.

Bangla Tigers could not take advantage of the ball in front of Brampton Wolves who came down to chase. Skipper Shakib Al Hasan did not come to the bowling. Shoriful bowled 3 overs and was wicketless with conceding 25 runs. David Warner was the highest scorer for Brampton. Captain Warner was unbeaten on 44 runs from 33 balls. Besides, Beau Webster was unbeaten on 23 off 15 balls. Brampton won by 8 wickets with 52 balls to spare.
