Two-time winners Lahore Qalandars made the announcement on Saturday of hiring Russell Domingo as their new head coach for the 2025 HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL)

Russell Domingo has taken over Darren Gough's position as head coach of the Lahore Qalandars. The Qalandars made the announcement that Gough was not available for the job owing to pressing personal commitments.

A veteran coach, Domingo possesses vast cricket experience, having coached the national team of South Africa and the Bangladesh men's team in the past.

He is recognized for his strategic sense and talent-spotting abilities. His inclusion is exactly what the Lahore Qalandars have envisioned, constructing a robust and competitive side.

The Qalandars expressed disappointment at Gough's late withdrawal, but said in a statement that they "understood and respected" his previous commitments. "He remains a valued member of the Qalandars family, and we sincerely wish him well."

Russell Domingo was thrilled to say
