The Royal Challengers Bangaluru (RCB) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 35 runs on Thursday (25th April). Rajat Patidar's blitzkrieg 50, Cameron Green's handy 37 helped RCB post a competitive 206 on the board. In reply, SRH were reduced to 80-6 but there were bit of a fight afterwards but couldn’t win it for SRH.

This is RCB's only second victory of the season after playing 9 matches so far.
Opting to bat first, RCB openers Kohli and Faf du Plessis gave them a flying start. The duo added quick-fire 48 runs on the opening stand. Du Plessis departed after a brisk start. Kohli slowed down after the powerplay and he was seen happy on nudging. Kohli scored 51 off 43 balls. It was Rajat Patidar who brought the world on fire as ge blitz a quick-fire 50 off only 20 balls.

Cameron Green played an useful handy knock at the backend of the innings to help RCB post 206 on the board. Jaydev Unadkat was the pick of the bowlers as well had 3 wickets to his name, guving away only 30 runs. Pat Cummins had a day to forget as he conceded 50+ runs and got one sole wicket of dangerous Dinesh Karthik at the backend of the innings. 

In reply, Travis Head fell cheaply to Will Jacks. Swapnil Singh came to remove the two Protea monsters - Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen earlier on. Abhishek Sharma smacked a bit as he hit 3 fours and 2 sixes but couldn’t last long as Yash Dayal got him out. SRH were reduced to 85-6.

Captain Pat Cummins came to give a bit of an impetus to the innings as he smashed 31 off just 15 balls. However, Cummins' lone hand too couldn't take SRH over the linr as his side was fallen short by 35 runs. RCB now have registered only their second victory of the season thus fat.
