Australian opener Matt Renshaw is feeling gutted after losing the 1st Test against Bangladesh. Renshaw wants to rectify the mistakes from the Dhaka Test and level the series 1-1 with a victory in the upcoming Chittagong Test. Renshaw said,"It's pretty disappointing to lose any Test match whether it be at home or away from home but I think the mood's pretty good. We know what we've done wrong in the first Test so we're just looking forward to righting those wrongs in the second Test and hopefully win and tie the series." Renshaw is considered as one of the better players of spin in the Australian side and has an impressive record in the sub-continent. Expectations are high from him whenever Australia play in the sub-continent. He showed glimpses of his prowess in the 1st innings of the Dhaka Test with a defiant 45 run innings but failed to deliver in the 2nd innings. But his opening partner David Warner scored a gritty and counter attacking 112 of just 135 balls. Renshaw highly praised the effort from the senior pro, pointing out his brilliant approach and execution of plan in the middle. "You could see the difference from his first innings to the second innings, how light on his feet and how easy it was for him to move out to the ball and then back as far back as possible. You hear the greats talk about batting on the subcontinent and it's trying to get to the ball and smother it or get right back and play it as late as you can," Renshaw explained. Renshaw also feels the difference in height between himself and Warner causes a lot of headache to the opposition bowlers, as they have to constantly change their length. "I’m not a bowler myself but I know that it’s probably tougher to find your length especially against someone who’s as tall as me and as short as Davey," said the 21 year old opener. "He's probably got the lighter-on-his-feet advantage, but I've got the reach advantage. I can reach quite far towards where the ball's pitching. He might run down at one whereas I can just defend.
