to review his decision for retiring from T20I cricket. She also congratulated on Bangladesh's 45-run win over
in the second T20I.

PM Hasina phoned Mashrafe after the match. Then she spoke about the Bangladesh captain's retirement. She also spoke with Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan Papon over phone.
Mashrafe could not trouble the scores with the bat in his final T20I for Bangladesh, but took the wicket for Seekkugge Prasanna in his last over of the spell to finish up with 1 for 30. Bangladesh levelled the series 1-1. They also had the same result in Test and ODI series.
Mashrafe ended up his T20I career with 42 wickets in 54 matches, the highest by any Bangladeshi fast bowler, He scored 377 runs at 136.10 strike rate. Under his captaincy, the Tigers won 10 T20Is.
