The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the starting XI for the second T20I, with a single change which saw all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz replace Faheem Ashraf in the Men in Green line-up.

“This series is for our youngesters. We tried to give them confidence. Sometimes that can happen because of the nerves of international cricket, but we have to support them because they have the talent and hopefully they will show it in the next game," Shadab said after the first T20I, suggesting that Pakistan might be the youngster will likely give players a decent run throughout the series.

Faheem was only able to score two runs in the first T20I while his bowling went unused by skipper Shadab Khan.

Former cricketer Rashid Latif had also called for the inclusion of all-rounder Nawaz to bolster Pakistani spin shares.

“We will have to make some changes. We missed Iftikhar Ahmed and Mohammad Nawaz. We missed four overs of spin during our bowling and that made all the difference," Latif said.

“If not both then at least one of Iftikhar or Nawaz should have been part of the playing XI. You can't go onto a UAE pitch with fewer than three spinners," he concluded.
