Star batsman Azam trails the Indian pair of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who top the record with 4,037 and 3,974 runs, respectively, by just 3,823 runs in Twenty20 international cricket.

As Pakistan starts a tough series against Ireland and England ahead of the 2024 T20 World Cup 2024, Pakistan captain Azam's batting form will be really important for his team.
