Sri Lanka are now in a short tour to Pakistan for three ODIs and three T20Is. While the ODI series have been started, Pakistan Cricket Board has announced squad for the three-match T20I series.
Interestingly Ahmed Shehzad and Umar Akmal have been handed lifelines again by new head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq. Ahmed Shehzad is returning to the side after facing a ban from International cricket.
Shehzad's last international appearance came last year in a T20I in Scotland and he has been out of reckoning ever since. Umar Akmal, on the other hand, hasn't played the shortest format for Pakistan since September 2016. He made an ODI comeback earlier this year for the
