One Test cut off from Bangladesh's Zimbabwe tour
As per the tentative schedule, accessed by BDCricTime, the two sides will meet in a one-off Test before the limited-overs series. Previously, the FTP had slotted two Tests between the bottom two-ranked sides - Bangladesh (9th) and Zimbabwe (10th) - but one has now been cut off.
Bangladesh are expected to leave on June 29 after the players will take part in Dhaka Premier League T20.

The one-off Test in Bulawayo will be played from July 7 to 11.
Harare will host the three ODIs on July 16, 18 and 20, and the three T20Is on July 23, 25 and 27. The ODI series is a part of Cricket World Cup Super League, a pathway to earn direct qualification to India 2023.
This will be Bangladesh's first tour in Zimbabwe since 2013, when the former had drawn Tests and T20Is 1-1 piece and lost the ODIs 1-2. Zimbabwe have then visited Bangladesh on seven occasions (barring 2014 T20 World Cup). Zimbabwe have recently hosted
for three T20Is, in which they won the second, and two Tests. Bangladesh have already been having a busy 2021 with back-to-back

, New Zealand and
to wrap up T20 World Cup preparations. Subsequently, two-match Test series each will follow against Sri Lanka and Pakistan at home.
