Keeping in mind the spin condition for the Test series against Bangladesh, New Zealand have announced a spin-heavy squad. Pacer Trent Boult is not in this series.
Kiwis will come to Bangladesh to play two Test matches against Bangladesh after the World Cup. Spin all-rounder Michael Bracewell has been ruled out of the Test series squad due to injury. However, due to good performance in the ongoing World Cup, Glenn Phillips got a chance in the Test team.

Rachin Ravindra, Ish Sodhi, and Ajaz Patel have been named in the spin attack. However, pacer Trent Boult was not kept in the Test squad. Originally he did not show interest in selecting himself for this series.
Kyle Jamieson returned to the Test squad after surgery in February. The first Test between Bangladesh and New Zealand will be held on November 28 in Sylhet. The second Test of the series will be held in Mirpur on December 6.
