Bangladesh thumped USA by 10 wickets on Saturday (25th May) to avoid the whitewash. To avoid the cleansweep Bangladesh needed a win and Mustafizur Rahman came up with his career best T20I bowling figure, where he picked up 6 wickets after giving away just 10 runs including a maiden. In reply, the opening duo of Tanzid Tamim and Soumya Sarkar string a hundred run partnership together to blow away USA in the third T20I.

Being asked to bat first, USA had a decent start to their innings. Andries Gous came out with all guns blazing and made merry. He made a quick-fire 27 off 15 runs to give USA a flying start. After the departure of Gous, USA fell in deep trouble as their middle order crumbled infront of Bangladeshi bowlers.

Rishad Hossain bowled a miserly spell as he conceded just 7 runs, which is the lowest by any Bangladeshi bowler in T20I's. While Mustafizur Rahman ran riot through the batting lineup of USA.

Mustafizur had 6 wickets to his name after giving away just 10, bowled his career best figure. This is his second fifer in T20I's. Mustafizur's sensational spell helped Bangladesh restrict USA to a paltry score of 104-9.

Andries Gous top scored for the USA, while Corey Anderson made 18. No other batter contributed which led USA to a below par total.

In reply, the openers Soumya Sarkar and Tanzid Hasan Tamim found their hands back. The duo saw off first two overs and then started to unleash their prowess. The duo teared apart the USA bowling lineup and brought up a hundred run partnership together. Tanzid Tamim brought up his 3rd T20I fifty in the process. Tanzid finished his innings on 58* off 42 balls, while Soumya was unbeaten on 43* off 28 balls to help Bangladesh win the match by 10 wickets.
