Chennai Super Kings have beaten Lucknow Super Giants by 5 wickets on Monday (April 14). Skipper Rishabh Pant's superb 63 off 49 balls helped the LSG get to 166 on the board. In response, Shivam Dube's gutsy 43* and and MS Dhoni's blitzkrieg 26* off 11 balls helped CSK get a thrilling victory.

Being inserted to bat first, Aiden Markram fell cheaply to Khaleel Ahmed. Anshul Kambuj then removed Nicholas Pooran as LSG fell further on. However, Mitchell Marsh and skipper Rishabh Pant the steadied the ship for the LSG, as the duo added a 50-run stand before the fall of Marsh after his 30 off 25 balls.

Ayush Badoni came in and played a key supporting with his skipper. Rishabh Pant made a blistering knock of 63 off 49 balls before his departure. At the tad backend of the innings, Abdul Samad played a little cameo to help his side get to 166 on the board.

In reply, Shaik Rasheed Rachin Ravindra started off to a flier, adding a quick-fire 52-run stand before the fall of the former one after his 27-run cameo. Rahul Tripathi fell cheaply as CSK sink further.

But Shivam Dube held on one end firmly, steering the ship for his side and scoring an unbeaten 43* off 37 balls. But it was MS Dhoni who blasted an incredible 26* off 11 balls to get this superb victory.
