In April 2025, Bangladesh will host Zimbabwe for a two-match Test series. This will be the first time that international cricket has been played in Bangladesh since the break.  With just a few days to go, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has released the full list of match officials for both Tests.

From April 20, the first Test will be held at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.  David Boon, a former Australian cricketer, will serve as the match referee for both games in the series.

Englishmen Richard Kettleborough and Richard Illingworth will be in charge of the Sylhet Test as on-field judges.  The third umpire will be from TV and will be from Sri Lanka. The fourth umpire will be from Bangladesh and will be called Tanvir Ahmed.

The first Test will end on April 27, and then both teams will move to Chattogram. The second and final Test will begin on April 28 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

Kumar Dharmasena will join Richard Illingworth as one of the on-field judges for the second Test.  Richard Kettleborough will be the third judge in charge of the game, and Gazi Sohel will be the fourth official.

This Test match is Bangladesh's first international cricket since their run in the Champions Trophy.  The Dhaka Premier League (DPL) is where most of the national players play right now. They use it as good match practice before the red-ball challenge.
