Bangladesh delivered a clean sweep victory over West Indies in their recent T20I series, winning 3-0. The standout performances from Bangladesh’s bowlers played a pivotal role in the triumph, earning them significant leaps in the ICC T20I Player Rankings. Among the batters, the series unveiled an emerging star, Jaker Ali, who also climbed up the rankings after his stellar performances.

Four Bangladeshi bowlers — Mahedi Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, Rishad Hossain, and Hasan Mahmud — achieved career-best ratings and rankings following their exceptional showing against the West Indies. Off-spinning all-rounder Mahedi entered the top 10 for the first time, climbing 13 spots to secure the 10th position.

Close behind is speedster Taskin Ahmed, who moved up seven places to reach the 11th spot. Young leg-spinner Rishad Hossain made an impressive leap of 21 spots to claim the 17th position, while pacer Hasan Mahmud rose 23 places to occupy the 24th spot.

The absence of Mustafizur Rahman, Bangladesh’s renowned “Cutter Master,” due to personal reasons, caused him to drop seven places to 26th. Meanwhile, emerging pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib improved by 16 spots, now ranking 45th.

Jaker Ali emerged as the brightest batting prospect for Bangladesh during the series. His remarkable performances earned him a meteoric rise in the ICC T20I Batting Rankings, where he jumped 85 spots to secure the 87th position.

In the ICC T20I All-Rounder Rankings, Mahedi Hasan climbed 10 spots to reach the 30th position, while Rishad Hossain surged 12 places to claim the 36th spot. Mehidy Hasan Miraz also improved significantly, advancing 24 spots to rank 70th among T20I all-rounders.
