Joburg Super Kings (JSK) have confirmed their wildcard signing for SA20 2025, none other than Sri Lankan pacer Matheesha Pathirana. The young fast bowler, known for his impressive performances with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL, is expected to bring his fiery yorkers and dynamic wicket celebrations to South Africa’s premier T20 league.

The young fast bowler Pathirana gained fame under legendary captain 'MS Dhoni' for his consistent performances in the Indian Premier League (IPL), and now he’s ready to take on the challenge in SA20 2025, which will run from January 9 to February 5, across six venues in South Africa.

Pathirana joins a strong JSK squad led by South African veteran Faf du Plessis another Former CSK player in IPL. The team boasts a lineup of international stars, including England Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow, and New Zealand Devon Conway, aiming to make their first-ever appearance in the SA20 final. In addition to Pathirana, JSK added Wihan Lubbe, Evan Jones, Doug Bracewell, and JP King as part of their signings during the auctions.
