James Anderson has reached the 700 test wickets milestone and became the third bowler in the history of Cricket to touch the feat, also he's the one and only pacer to have 700 test wickets. Anderson got the wicket of Kuldeep Yadav and reached to the milestone.

James Anderson was strangled on 698 and was shy of 2 wickets from reaching 700 test wickets. On the last day he picked up the wicket of Shubman Gill by knocking him over and had 699 wickets to his name.

And today on Saturday (9th March) he removed Kuldeep Yadav after his vital 30 off 69 deliveries, James Anderson reached the feat of 700 test wickets.

Only two bowlers before Anderson has done the job and now he's the third bowler to do so. But the other two are spinners, one is Australia's magician spinner Shane Warne and another is Sri Lankan legendary Muttiah Muralitharan. And hence it goes down, James Anderson is the only pacer to have 700 test wickets in the history of Cricket.

Despite Anderson's great feat, England are crumbling in the match and are trailing India by 259 runs. Tough challenge ahead of English batters infront of a quality spin attack which consists of Kuldeep Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.
