Australia will not find it easy to replace David Warner in Test cricket, according to captain Pat Cummins.

Australia said farewell to David Warner from Test cricket as the third Test against Pakistan came to a close at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Warner scored 57 runs off of 75 balls, capping off an impressive display. Warner’s farewell was a spectacular event, as the SCG resounded with a resounding applause.

Cummins praised Warner for the 12 years of aggressive batting that he set the stage for Australia. "It's going to be hard to replace Davey, he's basically played every game for the last dozen years, he's a huge personality, he really sets the game up with the way he plays every time he walks out. He's going to be huge to replace. We'll enjoy him for the next day or so while we've still got him around,” Cummins said.

On his last day of Test cricket, the 37-year-old batted brilliantly, scoring fifty in rapid succession and forming an important 119-run partnership with Marnus Labuschagne. Despite losing Usman Khawaja early in the match, Australia still managed to cruise to an easy victory with to Warner and Labuschagne. The hosts were chasing a modest goal of 130 runs.
