Glenn Maxwell's underwhelming performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is causing problems for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. So far in this 17th edition of the IPL, RCB have managed to win only one game out of seven matches,they are currently placed 10th on the IPL Points Table 2024.

Despite being known for his dynamic play, Maxwell has failed to deliver consistent performances in IPL 2024. With a mere 32 runs scored across six innings and an average of 5.33, his batting has fallen short of expectations, placing additional pressure on the team's overall performance.

In a notable turn of events, the 35-year-old all-rounder withdrew from the team's last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Citing physical and mental fatigue as contributing factors,

Due to a hip strain, Glenn Maxwell, an all-rounder, has confirmed he will miss at least the next match in the IPL 2024. Although the length of his absence is unknown, Maxwell is anxious to go back to full fitness and is optimistic about making a quick recovery.

"I’ve actually got a little bit of a hip strain so I’ve got a few more days off and during recovery. So I’ve got a little period here where I’m still training, still trying to get myself right. If there is a spot that becomes available, I’ll obviously put my hand up and take it." He added via "Around the wicket" ESPNs

"It’s not one of those things where I’ve set a date that I’ll be out for three games then I’ll come back whenever I’m ready. That’s that’s not how it works. I haven’t been at a level that’s good enough to warrant a spot on the side this year." Also he quoted
