In advance of their five-match T20 International series against Bangladesh, which begins on April 28, the Indian women's cricket team landed in Sylhet yesterday.

The visitors, headed by Harmanpreet Kaur, were greeted with warmth at Sylhet's Osmani International Airport.

When the opening game of the series begins on April 28, all five games will be played at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. The other four matches in the series will take place on April 30, May 2, 6, and 9, respectively, after the series opener on Sunday.

The two day games will take place in the outdoor location, while the three day-night games will take place in the main stadium. Day games will begin at 2 p.m. local time, and day-night games at 6.30 p.m.

The Indian women's team's last trip to Bangladesh was for a three-match ODI and T20I series in July 2023. Controversies surrounded the tour's conclusion, with Indian captain Harmanpreet charging Bangladeshi umpires of biassed call-making.
